William F. Duke is senior vice president for Optima, Inc. Mr. Duke manages and directs Optima’s team of architects on the firm’s Chicago-area projects, fulfilling the vision of Optima CEO David Hovey Sr. and President and Principal Architect David Hovey Jr.
Mr. Duke first joined Optima in 2005 as project director. Before Optima, Mr. Duke worked as an architect at Skidmore, Ownings and Merrill, and Nagle, Hartray & Associates.
Mr. Duke earned a Bachelor of Art from the College of Wooster. A licensed architect, he holds a master’s degree in architecture from Virginia Tech. Mr. Duke is a member of The American Institute of Architects (AIA).
